Kenzie jumped and spun around when Rommie spoke. She stopped herself from striking out. She swallowed "umm, Yea I guess"

Come on...Carriage is waiting...

Kenzie followed Rommie to the carriage and climbed inside "so, where are we going?"

We are heading to a local mall here...they have a pretty nice variety of shops that have different styles of clothing...So we should be able to find stuff you like...

Kenzie nodded "I havent been to the mall in a long time"

Activity wise…I love to ride…I do a lot of reading and swimming in the summer…hang out with my brothers when they are home…go out with my friends…

Because its a great story and you would enjoy it...

Rommie got out of the carriage...shutting the door behind herself...She looked over at Hector...who was coming up beside them..."I can go shopping by myself...I am a big girl now..."

"I am well aware of that Rommie...and there is also a death threat against your life...so forgive your security officer if I tag along."

"Fine..."  She says in a playful tone...

Its a long...story...but the short version...I pissed someone off with my opinion...

Because I refuse to give in to their threats.  I am not going to live my life in fear...

What kind of clothes do you like...Jeans...dresses...fancy...simple?

comfortable, easy to move in, long lasting

"My favorite kind...follow me...I think you will love this store..."  She says with a bright smile.  She leads the way to a store that sells a ton of comfortable, good quality clothing...everything from jeans, tank tops, shirts...everything Kenzie could need...everything is reasonably priced...

Kenzie enters the store and looks around, she begins to look at the clothes and picks a few things out, 2 pairs of jeans, a few shirts and a handful of few other necessities. Having kept a watchful eye on the store as she browsed she looks up from a shirt she was looking and sees 2 large men near where she was standing. Her heart rate sky rockets, and she tries to slowly back away from the men, someone puts a hand on her shoulder and she drops the items in her arms and grabs the person by the wrist and twisting around she locks their wrist behind their back before shoving them away from her.

Rommie and Hector are by her side in an instant..."What are you two doing?!?"  She says...in a vastly different voice...one that is more authoritative.  

Kenzie looked around and saw everyone was looking at her, her gaze kept going to the 2 men who had confused looks on their faces "I... I am sorry" she spun around and made to leave the store. Leaving her pile of items on the floor.

Rommie looks at Hector...then hurries to follow Kenzie..."Hey..."  She says gently...taking Kenzie by the arm..."You ok?"

Kenzie shakes her head "I thought I recognized those guys" she said as she tries to regulate her breathing and her heart rate "I need out" she said and tried to head for the exit but was heading in the wrong direction.

I dont know them...Hector is handling them...you are ok...I promise...Come on...lets get out of here...

Kenzie followed Rommie out of the mall. Once outside she began to calm down and realized what had she had done "I am sorry, I think we should probably head back"

Rommie gently takes her hand...giving it a comforting squeeze...and both girls suddenly have images flashing before their eyes...emotions tumbling through their minds...muffled voices that emotionally they connect with...mother...father...talking...laughing...the voices eventually become more stressed...angry...hurt...the mother's voice becomes authoritative...powerful...angry...the father's...sad...hurt...depressed...then the voices become more clear...its like they can see themselves as infants...their hands clutched together...a male's voice saying something about a threat...twins...the maternal voice..."Kill.....them...."...the paternal voice..."protect them...hide...."  Rommie lets go...stepping back...staring at Kenzie...her lower lip trembling slightly....

Kenzie steps back, breathing hard, she tries to hide the emotions but tears still gather in her eyes though she refuses to let them fall "what was that?" she asked softly

"I....dont...know..."  Rommie replies...her mind turning the information over...

"Everything is taken care of Milady...Are you both alright?"  Hector says...coming up behind Kenzie...holding several bags from the store in his hands...

Rommie smiles broadly..."We are fine...Ready when you are...unless you want to continue shopping Kenzie?"

Kenzie shakes her head "No....I think I have had my fill of shopping for today" 

"Then we are heading back...Thanks Hector..."  Hector takes a quick bow then leaves to put the packages in the carriage...while Rommie links her arm with Kenzie's..."Dont say anything to anyone."  She says in a very soft voice...
